Living through the seasons of grief.
How I wish you never needed to read this page! How I long for all pain to evaporate as if dissipated by the warmth of the sun. It would be so much more pleasant to interact about something benign like the weather or a piece of inspiring art or share a sunset. But for now, we are here in this same space and place sharing each other’s grief. Mourning is difficult work. We need nourishment along the way to keep facing the pain and working towards healing. May I suggest that nourishment comes in the form of feasting from the advice or wisdom of another who has traveled further ahead in her healing work? It is my heart’s desire to journey with you through your seasons of grief and thus either lighten your load by shared understanding or encourage you so you don’t feel so alone. It is my prayer that I can offer you emotional snacks and meals to strengthen you for your journey.
